Oral Exams
All oral exams at this chair may be taken only once per term. Please arrange the date of your exam by contacting the secretary's office at
sek-amna{at}math.uni-wuppertal.de
An oral exam typically starts with a presentation of 5-10 minutes given by the student, where the topic can chosen from the lecture. The duration of the total exam depends on the program (Modulhandbuch), but commonly it is 20-40 minutes. No auxiliary materials are allowed.
Please note: the detailed guidelines of the exam will always be announced in the lectures.
Internships in the Bachelor Program Wirtschaftsmathematik (S.WMPrak)
The internship must have a workload of 180h (6 CP). This corresponds to a duration of 5 weeks of a full-time internship. For the admission of an internship the documents must be sent either by email to

The documents must include a proof of employment in the corresponding company, e.g., a certificate. Furthermore a report, written by the student. These documents must make clear that the student applied methods of business mathematics in industry or services (depending on the particular company), see Modulhandbuch.
Please note that, before starting your internship, you must contact your professor of choice for consultation.

The internship must have a workload of 270h (9 CP) or 360h (12 CP). This corresponds to a duration of 8 or 12 weeks of a full-time internship. For the admission of an internship the documents must be sent either by email to
